UPDATE: Hands On USA is working with the national volunteer organization, Hands On Network, to provide an ongoing presence for volunteers to make a difference in the recovery of the Gulf Coast region. Beginning February 1st, Hands On Network will support the ongoing work of the volunteer center at Pass Road in Biloxi as well as establish similar centers in New Orleans.
HOUSA is not currently managing volunteers on the Gulf Coast, but those interested in volunteering should contact Hands On Network at [email protected]. Visit Hands On Network’s Katrina Relief site for ongoing updates about centers opening in other locations and other opportunities to serve in the region.
For more information about what David, Darius, Marc & the HOUSA crew will be doing next, please visit www.HODR.org.

Hands On USA is working with the City of E. Biloxi to help clean up and clear some heavily hit areas. Two zones have been designated as Hands On USA sections and we have begun the work to help rebuild these communities.
“When Dick Clinton and the crew left, I came inside, hugged my three year old twin sons and told them that someday I want them to grow up and be as kind and giving with their time as the men that came to our house today. I truly cannot so thank you enough.”

“God Bless You and everyone you come into contact with – your help is very much appreciated and needed. Thank you again.”
